There's no reason to not pick a secondary... if you are, it's obviously for some reason that doesn't involve wanting to succeed.
Not sure if you guys covered this... but don't you get skill points for doing missions and such? Or have they removed that?
The problem with them is that they have a ridiculous recharge of 60 seconds. The only way to make them almost playable would to run Quickening...
