I did it with heroes and it was a pain.I think Extingish(SP) and Breath of the Great Dwarf will definately help.

Just curious which armor is onyx used for if any and cloth of the brotherhood how do you get that?

IParasite helped also if you did the 12 destroyer core quest one of the skills removes burning.My nec was degen.Took me 6 barrels to get him but...
