You mean keep famine alive? ...you just cast another spirit in front of it and cast famine further away. Either the smites don't do anything...

You can still use it, it's just difficult to fight more than 3 at a time in melee and kill them quickly. Far from impossible, just slower.

Not sure about the 55/IW, but I'm pretty sure the vwk me/rt works (same build as rt/me, just different professions and slightly less dmg on vwk).
