Picked a r8 command shield (16AL, inscribible) over in CoF the other night.

Yep, did it for both of the factions missions using sabway along with Argo, Kai Ying, a healer hench and a ranger hench. I did this on my rit...

I see them as being a hell of a lot more useful than those tonics. Someone should go and kindly ask Linsey to make them everlasting.
