Yes it will, but only if its an air wand. Conjure only works on weapons that give that kind of elemental damage, which is why elemental strings...

iW isnt very unexpected.... well from a me/r perhaps... but overall. and they are better suited to taking casters. mesmer and ranger are anti...

Yeah you loose on armour.... but if you know who your up against, get greater conflaguration or winter and get the anti cold/fire set depending....

my personal opinion is that defending against a 600 1 second spike is much harder than 40dps sustained.

One is for allies, one is when they cast on foes. So a monk would be better off (or worse considering) with shame, but an ele would be better off...
