They are in fact only *tameable* in UW, but one exists as a pet of that boss in GWEN. You can't have it though.... at least until someone more...
All mods can be replaced, all inscriptions can be replaced (in NF and GWEN anyways). Therefore, R8 armor 16 shield is all that is required.
