This skill is great in PvP with lightning reflexes. I need to get this on my PvE ranger, too bad i didn't bring a cap when i was on that mission.

The only thing I know of right now that protects you against spells is obsidian flesh. But that's an ele skill and it makes you 50% slower...
Ward against enemies does help against enemies that run away. Also, whirldwind only effects people right next to you atacking you. (kind of funny...
