Given that they have attributes called Wilderness Survival and Beast Mastery, I'd assume that they are 'one with nature'.

Make sure you're testing it on enemies of a similar level. Naturally a level 15 enemy will be taking more damage if you're level 20.

How is 6 healing skills complete ownage?
