The weapon of remedy/vengeful weapon combo is pretty arse kicking, but tends to leave you blowing through all your energy from spamming it....

AI assassins are pretty horrible most of the time (f***ing oni mobs!). Fire is perfectly fine, although earth is always very useful in PvE.
